Orders that a marketplace sent you but AIM could not finish recording — usually because it could not tell which pair in your inventory was sold. Where to find it: Open Failed Orders in AIM — you will be asked to sign in first.

What you can do here

  • See which incoming StockX, GOAT/Alias, and eBay orders did not get recorded
  • Read the exact reason each one failed
  • Fix the underlying problem and try the order again
  • Close out an order you already handled another way, with a note explaining how
  • Look back at everything that has already been dealt with

Buttons, fields, and controls

How to: Work through the day’s failures

  1. Leave Status on Unresolved Only.
  2. Read the Error type on each row to see what kind of problem it is.
  3. Open View details on anything unclear, so you can see the order exactly as the marketplace sent it.
  4. Fix the cause, then click Retry — or Mark resolved if you handled it another way.
Three GOAT orders failed overnight, all Inventory Not Found. All three are the same Dunk Low Panda that never got received from a delivery — receive it, then Retry all three.

How to: Fix an order that says the size is wrong

  1. Filter Error type to Size Mismatch.
  2. Open View details and note the size the marketplace sold.
  3. Check that size in your inventory — the pair may be sitting under a different size label, or may never have been received.
  4. Once the right size is in stock, come back and click Retry.
StockX sold a Jordan 1 Chicago in size 10.5 but your stock has it recorded as size 10. Correct the size on the pair, then retry — the order records and the pair comes out of stock.

How to: Close out an order you already handled by hand

  1. Find the order and open the row menu (the ”…” button).
  2. Choose Mark resolved.
  3. Write exactly what you did in the resolution notes.
  4. Click Mark Resolved — the row moves out of the unresolved list but stays on record.
An eBay order failed because the buyer cancelled before it could record. Mark it resolved with “buyer cancelled on eBay, nothing shipped, no sale recorded”.

Good to know

  • A failed order is an AIM record-keeping problem, not a money problem. The marketplace still has the order and still owes you the payout — this page just gets your own books in step.
  • Retry replays the order exactly as it first arrived. If you have not changed anything, it will fail the same way, and the Retries count will climb.
  • If the error message says “Sale created”, the sale is already in AIM. Do not enter it a second time — check your sales list first.
  • Resolved failures are never deleted. Switch Status to Resolved Only to see how a similar problem was handled last time.
  • A burst of failures from one marketplace at one time usually points at a connection or catalog problem rather than the individual orders.
