A chat helper built into AIM. Ask about your business in plain English, and it can also do work for you — check stock, pull reports, create purchase orders, manage listings — without navigating menus.
What you can do here
- Ask questions about your stock, sales, and profit in plain language
- Have it do work for you — it always shows a preview and waits for your OK first
- Identify a shoe from a photo, or turn a PDF/CSV invoice into a purchase order
- Ask it how something works (“why isn’t this publishing to Shopify?”, “what does listable mean?”)
How to: Check on something (nothing changes)
- Open the chat panel — click “AIM Assistant” in the sidebar (or press Shift+Tab on any page).
- Type a plain-language question — include the product name or SKU, size, and location to get a precise answer on the first try.
- Refer back to what you just asked — “list those on GOAT too” works.
“How many Jordan 1 Chicago do we have by size?” or “What’s the lowest ask on SKU 555088-101?”
How to: Ask it to do something (you approve first)
- Describe the change in plain language.
- The assistant shows a preview of exactly what it’s about to do.
- Press Confirm (or reply “confirm”). Nothing happens until you do. If the preview looks wrong, just say what to change.
“Create a draft purchase order for Vendor X: 12 pairs of DZ5485-612, sizes 8–12, $180 each.” Review the preview, then Confirm.
How to: Get help understanding a screen or a term
- Ask the assistant directly — it reads the same plain-language guides and glossary this Help drawer uses.
- Try “what does this page do?”, “how do tier prices work?”, or “what needs my attention today?”.
“What does listable mean?” returns the same plain definition you see in the Help drawer.
Good to know
- The assistant never changes anything without your approval — it always previews first and waits for Confirm.
- Be specific: product name or SKU, size, and location get you a precise answer on the first try.
- Say “show more” to page through long lists.
- Use the 👍 / 👎 buttons on answers. After a 👎, choose “Contact support” to open a ticket with your question, the answer, conversation ID, and page already attached.
- It can’t undo a confirmed action, so double-check previews before confirming. It also can’t do things outside AIM (it won’t email vendors or change your Shopify theme).
