Buttons, fields, and controls

How to: See profit for your sales

  1. Look at the “Profitability Analysis” section.
  2. “Gross Profit” is what you made after subtracting only what the shoes cost you (the COGS).
  3. “Net Profit” is the real number — it also subtracts marketplace fees, payment fees, and shipping.
  4. The “Margin” percentages tell you what share of each sale you kept (higher is better).
You sold 50,000worthofshoes.Theshoescostyou50,000 worth of shoes. The shoes cost you 38,000 (COGS), so gross profit is 12,000(2412,000 (24% margin). After 2,500 in fees and shipping, net profit is $9,500 (19% margin).

How to: Find your best products

  1. Scroll to “Top Performing Products”.
  2. Each row shows how many sold, the revenue, what they cost, and the profit.
  3. Compare the “Net margin %” column to see which shoes earn you the most per sale, not just the most total.
Dunk Low Panda sold 40 pairs at a 28% net margin, while a hyped Jordan sold 5 pairs at 9% — the Dunk is quietly your better earner.

How to: Confirm a marketplace payment landed

  1. In “Recent Transactions”, click the “Payments” button.
  2. You’ll see each payment a marketplace sent you, with its date and amount.
  3. When the money has actually arrived in your bank, click “Received” next to it so your records match.
StockX shows a 240payoutdatedlastTuesday.Onceyouseethat240 payout dated last Tuesday. Once you see that 240 in your bank, click “Received” to mark it confirmed.

Good to know

  • Revenue is the full sale price. Profit is what you keep after costs and fees — always look at profit, not just revenue.
  • “Pending Sales” are sales that haven’t fully completed yet (still shipping or being verified), so that money isn’t in hand. “Completed Sales” are done.
  • COGS just means “cost of goods sold” — what you originally paid for the shoes you sold.
  • The “Marketplace payout” column is what the marketplace pays you directly after taking its cut — it’s less than the listed sale price.
