Buttons, fields, and controls

How to: Add a customer

  1. Click “Add Customer” on the left.
  2. Enter their name and email (those two are required), plus a phone and company if you have them.
  3. Pick the pricing tier they should get (you can change this later).
  4. Click “Create Customer” to save.
Add “Mike’s Kicks” with email mike@mikeskicks.com and put him on your Wholesale tier.

How to: Put a customer on a pricing tier

  1. Find the customer in the list (use the Search box to narrow it down).
  2. Click the ⋯ menu on their row and choose “Edit”.
  3. Open the “Pricing Tier” dropdown and pick the tier you want them on.
  4. Click “Save Changes”. From now on they’ll see that tier’s prices.
Set “Mike’s Kicks” to the Wholesale tier so he sees 160insteadofyour160 instead of your 200 retail price.

How to: Add a shipping address for a customer

  1. Click the ⋯ menu on the customer’s row and choose “Add Address”.
  2. Fill in the recipient name and the street address, city, state, and ZIP.
  3. Click “Add Address”. It’ll be ready to use the next time you ship them an order.
Add “Example Retail Receiving, 125 Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204” to the sample customer record. The next wholesale shipment can use it without retyping the address.

Good to know

  • Use the Tier, Type, and Status filters on the left to quickly find a group of customers.
  • A customer marked “Linked” is connected to another business in your network, so orders can sync between you.
  • The Summary box on the left shows your total customers, revenue, and average customer value at a glance.
  • The ⋯ menu also has “History”, which shows every change made to that customer over time.
