Connect the provider account AIM should work with for each sales channel. Saving the details is only the first step for some providers; complete the provider-specific approval or validation below before relying on the connection. ## What this changes downstream Each choice records a provider-specific connection for the AIM business you are working in. The details you enter, the provider approval, and the final connection status determine whether that connection is ready for use. | Choose | What AIM records | What you must verify | | -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | StockX | The details you save for the StockX account. | Complete the separate StockX authentication step after saving. | | GOAT/Alias | The name and access token, with an AIM connection status. | The current connection surface exposes Save only; if you need provider validation before relying on GOAT/Alias, stop and contact support rather than infer success from the active label. | | eBay | A connection that stays pending until the provider approval and account check finish. | Confirm the intended seller account is connected. | | TikTok Shop or Depop | A named connection that activates after provider approval returns to AIM. | Confirm the connection status after the return. | | Shopify | A store connection using the Shopify option you choose. | Complete the matching Shopify approval or shop-information check. | Connecting a channel does not make its quantity equal to AIM's **Available** or **Ready to list**. Those are separate questions about inventory and channel sellability. ## Before you start * Sign in to the AIM business you intend to connect, and make sure you can open the relevant settings surface. * For **StockX**, have the OAuth2 client ID, client secret, API key, and the redirect URI shown by AIM ready, along with a name for the connection. * For **GOAT/Alias**, have the access token and a name for the connection ready. * For **eBay**, use a production seller account with payment, shipping, and returns policies in place. You also need administrator access, consent, and identity verification. * For **TikTok Shop** and **Depop**, the provider app must already be set up. These connections are not available for sandbox businesses. * For **Shopify**, have a valid `.myshopify.com` shop domain and decide whether you will use official Shopify approval, a Dev Dashboard app, or the legacy custom-app option. ## The minimum setup 1. Open **Settings**. Choose **Marketplace Connections** for StockX, GOAT/Alias, eBay, TikTok Shop, or Depop. Use the Shopify settings surface for a Shopify store. 2. Select one provider and follow its sequence below. 3. Finish the provider-specific validation, then check the connection status. For StockX, GOAT/Alias, or eBay, also review the locations shown for the connection in AIM. ### StockX 1. Add StockX and enter a connection name, OAuth2 client ID, client secret, API key, and the redirect URI displayed by AIM. 2. Save the details. 3. Start StockX authentication from AIM and finish the separate OAuth step. **Check it worked:** The StockX authentication step completes after Save. A successful Save message alone means the details were recorded; it is not proof that StockX authenticated the connection. ### GOAT/Alias 1. Add GOAT/Alias and enter a connection name and access token. 2. Save the details. 3. The current GOAT/Alias connection surface exposes Save only; if you need provider validation before relying on GOAT/Alias, stop and contact support. **Check it worked:** AIM may show the connection as active after Save. That Active label is local setup state, not proof that the provider accepted the connection. The current customer surface does not expose a provider-test control, so a customer who needs provider validation before relying on GOAT/Alias should stop and contact support rather than infer success. ### eBay 1. Add eBay and use a production seller account. eBay requires its payment, shipping, and returns policies, administrator access, consent, and identity verification. 2. Start the eBay connection and complete the consent and identity steps at eBay. 3. Return to AIM and wait for the connection result. **Check it worked:** The connection is active for the intended seller account. If the returned seller does not match the expected seller, or the seller is already connected, eBay rejects the connection. Stop and correct the account choice before trying again. ### TikTok Shop 1. Add a named TikTok Shop connection after the provider app is set up. 2. Authorize the intended seller account at TikTok Shop. 3. Return to AIM to finish the provider approval. **Check it worked:** The connection becomes active after the provider approval returns to AIM. Sandbox businesses cannot use this connection path. ### Depop 1. Add a named Depop connection after the provider app is set up. 2. Authorize the intended seller account and approve the requested access for products, orders, offers, and shop reads. 3. Return to AIM to finish the provider approval. **Check it worked:** The connection becomes active after the provider approval returns to AIM. Sandbox businesses cannot use this connection path. ### Shopify official connection 1. Open the Shopify settings surface and enter a valid `.myshopify.com` shop domain. 2. Start the official Shopify connection and approve it in Shopify. 3. Return to AIM to finish the connection. **Check it worked:** The store appears as connected in Shopify settings after the approval return. ## Further options for Shopify The app details and token behavior depend on the Shopify connection mode you choose. ### Dev Dashboard app Choose this option when your Dev Dashboard app is released and installed, with its scopes and redirect setup ready. 1. Enter the shop domain, Client ID, and Client Secret. 2. Complete the app's install or approval step. 3. Let AIM test the obtained access against shop information before the connection is completed. **Check it worked:** The shop-information check succeeds and the store is connected. Automatic token refresh applies only to Dev Dashboard connections; do not assume the same behavior for official OAuth or the legacy custom-app option. ### Legacy custom app (deprecated) This option is marked deprecated in AIM's connection form. 1. Enter the shop domain, API key, API secret key, and Admin API access token. 2. Let AIM test the shop information before it stores the connection details. **Check it worked:** The shop-information check succeeds before the connection is completed. Do not expect automatic token refresh for this connection type. ## What this creates or changes * AIM records a named provider connection against the business you selected. * For StockX, GOAT/Alias, and eBay credentials, the connection shows its business and location scope. AIM can populate existing locations that do not already have that marketplace credential; review the locations shown before using it. This business/location-scope and automatic location-population behavior is limited to those three credential types; do not assume it applies to TikTok Shop, Depop, or Shopify. * Provider-specific approval, authentication, or connected-status results determine whether a connection is ready for use. A saved StockX or GOAT/Alias entry is not the same as provider authentication; the current GOAT/Alias connection surface exposes Save only and does not expose a provider-test control. If you need provider validation before relying on GOAT/Alias, stop and contact support. * The connection does not redefine AIM's inventory quantities or the separate sellability number used by a channel. ## If you got it wrong If an OAuth attempt says it expired, retry from that provider's section in AIM. If the new attempt still cannot finish after you check the provider details and prerequisites, stop and contact support. For StockX, GOAT/Alias, and eBay, removing a credential in AIM does not end the marketplace listings or prove that provider access was revoked. End and verify those listings through the provider first; do not use credential removal as an account wind-down step. TikTok Shop and Depop's Disconnect action deactivates the connection in AIM but does not prove provider token revocation. Shopify's visible connected-store menu does not offer a customer Disconnect Store action.
