# Pick Runs

> Every batch of sold pairs your team has walked the floor for — what was picked, how many shipping labels are ready, and where to reprint them.

Every batch of sold pairs your team has walked the floor for — what was picked, how many shipping labels are ready, and where to reprint them.

**Where to find it:** [Open Pick Runs in AIM](https://aimventory.com/fulfillments/pick-runs) — you will be asked to sign in first.

## What you can do here

* See each saved batch, when it started, and how many of its pairs have been pulled
* Jump back into an unfinished batch and carry on picking where you left off
* Watch shipping labels build in the background and download them all as one PDF
* Switch a batch between plain 4x6 labels and label-plus-pack-slip, and rebuild the documents
* Close a finished batch or archive an old one so the list stays clean

## Buttons, fields, and controls

| Resume | Row action on an Open batch | Reopens that batch in Pick Mode so new scans attach to it again. | Use it after a break, a shift change, or a browser refresh. |
| Labels | Row action on a Closed batch | Opens every stored label for that batch merged into a single PDF, in the order the pairs were picked. | Send it straight to the printer and match the stack to the boxes on your bench. |
| Download merged PDF | Row three-dot menu | The same merged label PDF, with the label count shown so you know what you are getting. | Use it to reprint after a jam or a smudged label. |
| Rebuild documents | Row three-dot menu (only after you change the Format dropdown) | Applies the new format and regenerates the documents for pairs already picked in that batch. | Use it right after switching format, otherwise only future picks get the new layout. |
| Close run | Row three-dot menu on an Open batch | Marks the batch finished so later scans no longer attach to it. | Close it once the last pair is pulled, or when you have abandoned the batch. |
| Archive | Row three-dot menu | Files the batch away so it drops out of the normal list. | Tidy up old finished batches. You can still find them with the Status filter set to Archived. |

## How to: Pick up an unfinished batch

1. Set Status to "Open" in the left panel.
2. Find the batch — the Picked column shows what is left, e.g. 9/14.
3. Click "Resume" on its row.
4. You land back in Pick Mode with that batch active; carry on scanning the remaining pairs.

<Tip title="Real-world example">
  The morning picker got through 9 of 14 pairs before lunch. The afternoon picker filters to Open, clicks Resume on "Main Warehouse — Tue AM", and scans the last five without starting a new batch.
</Tip>

## How to: Print all the shipping labels for a finished batch

1. Find the batch and check the Generation bar has finished and turned green.
2. Check the Labels column — 15/15 means every pair has a label stored.
3. Click "Labels" on the row (or "Download merged PDF" in the three-dot menu).
4. One PDF opens with all the labels in pick order. Print it and work down the stack.

<Tip title="Real-world example">
  A 15-pair StockX and GOAT batch finishes at 4pm. Instead of fetching fifteen labels one at a time, you print one 15-page PDF and the pages line up with the boxes in the order you pulled them.
</Tip>

## How to: Switch a batch to labels with a pack slip

1. Find the batch and open the Format dropdown on its row.
2. Choose "4x6 Label + Pack Slip".
3. Open the three-dot menu and click "Rebuild documents".
4. Wait for the Generation bar to finish, then download the merged PDF again.

<Tip title="Real-world example">
  You realise a wholesale batch of 8 pairs needs a packing slip in each box. Change the format, rebuild, and the reprinted PDF has a label and a slip for all 8.
</Tip>

## How to: Tidy up old batches

1. Set Status to "Open" and check nothing is genuinely still in progress.
2. For a batch that is finished but still open, use the three-dot menu and click "Close run".
3. For old closed batches you no longer need in the list, click "Archive" in the same menu.
4. To look one up later, set the Status filter to "Archived".

<Tip title="Real-world example">
  Three open batches from last week were all completed but never closed. Close each one, then archive anything older than a month so the list only shows this week's work.
</Tip>

## Good to know

* A batch is a snapshot: it captures the sold pairs that were in the queue when Pick Mode started it. Sales that come in afterwards need a new batch.
* Merged label printing only covers StockX and GOAT/Alias pairs — other channels are marked picked here but their labels come from elsewhere.
* An orange progress bar means at least one label failed to come back. Open the batch in Pick Mode to see which pair, rather than reprinting blind.
* Archiving hides a batch, it does not undo any picking. The pairs stay picked and the stored labels stay downloadable if you filter Archived back into view.
