# Add a Product to Your Catalog

> Search the StockX or GOAT catalog to add a sneaker you stock — its photos, sizes, and details come along automatically — or build it by hand when it isn't listed.

## What you can do here

* Search the StockX catalog and add a sneaker with one click
* Switch to the GOAT catalog if the sneaker isn't on StockX
* Create a custom product by hand for boutique, used, or hard-to-find items

## Buttons, fields, and controls

## How to: Add a product from the catalog

1. Make sure the StockX tab is selected (it has the largest catalog).
2. Type the sneaker's name, colorway, or style number into the search box.
3. Find the right match in the results — check the photo, release date, and retail price.
4. Click to add it. Its photos, sizes, and details are pulled in for you automatically.

  You just got a few pairs of the Jordan 4 "Bred" — search "Jordan 4 Bred" on the StockX tab, confirm the photo matches, and add it to your catalog.

## How to: Search the GOAT catalog instead

1. Search on the StockX tab first.
2. If nothing matches, click the GOAT tab at the top of the search box.
3. Search again using the same name or style number.
4. Add the matching result the same way you would on StockX.

  A GOAT-exclusive collab doesn't show up under StockX — switch to the GOAT tab, search the name again, and add it from there.

## How to: Create a custom product when it's not found

1. Search both the StockX and GOAT tabs first to be sure it really isn't listed.
2. In the "Can't find it in either catalog?" box, click "Create a custom product".
3. Fill in the name, photos, sizes, and details yourself.
4. Save it — the product is now in your catalog just like a cataloged one.

  You're selling a used pair or a small-brand boutique item that isn't on StockX or GOAT — create a custom product and enter its details by hand.

## Good to know

* Search by the sneaker's name, colorway, or its style number / SKU (printed on the box label).
* If nothing comes up, try the other catalog tab before giving up.
* Still nothing? Use "Create a custom product" — that's the right path for boutique, used, or GOAT-only items.
* Adding a product to your catalog doesn't add any stock. After it's in, set it up and bring in pairs through a purchase order.
